NFL Power Rankings - Week 16

The Raiders and Chiefs are currently swapping back and forth in positioning, but for majority the top 10 hasn't changed much. The top two are obvious and as of right now the best chance to be in the Superbowl. The 3 worst teams are still vying for the number 1 pick in the draft. The playoffs are still in play for a lot of the teams so this week is important week for the playoff race.

MVP Race

  1. RB Ezekiel Elliott - Cowboys;
  2. QB Derek Carr - Raiders;
  3. QB Tom Brady - Patriots;
  4. QB Matt Ryan - Falcons;
  5. QB Dak Prescott - Cowboys;

The MVP race is always full of quarterbacks, but running back Ezekiel Elliott is ahead of the pack right now. With two weeks left in the season, Elliott puts up over 100 yards both games and the Cowboys win it should be his. If he stumbles or they lose one of the games, Derek Carr is an easy choice to win it. Tom Brady has solid numbers but when games are missed it hurts the MVP case that can be made for him. The race is tight this year and it will come down to final two weeks.  Even some guys not in the top 5 could potentially sneak in for MVP or steal some votes away.
