The main of event UFC Auckland features two of the best knockout artist in MMA. Derrick Lewis versus Mark Hunt has potential to end within the first minute of the fight. The fight features a guy on a roll heading toward a possible title shot and a guy who is slowing down and heading to end of his career. Lewis is on a 6 fight win streak and 16 of his 18 wins ended in knockouts. Lewis has legit power but his main problem is if his gas tank can hold up if it happens to go 3 rounds. Hunt has 9 knockouts in 12 career wins and is only a .500 fighter who has a career record of 12 wins and 11 losses in his career. Hunt has knocked out some of the top guys to fight in MMA but he is going up against a guy with the same knockout power. The co-main event is an underrated interesting fight between Derek Brunson and Daniel Kelly. Derek Brunson was two wins away from a chance at the title until he got beat by Robert Whittaker and then lost a controversial decision to Anderson Silva. Brunson has 12 career finishes in 16 career wins with 8 knockouts. Daniel Kelly didn't make it to the UFC until he was 37 years old but has made the best of his opportunity winning 6 of his 7 fights and proving that it doesn't matter what age you get to the UFC. He has a solid game everywhere but doesn't mind standing in the pocket and throwing punches. Other notable names on the card are Ross Pearson, Ion Cutelaba, Henrique da Silva, Tim Elliot, and John Moraga.
