The Korean Zombie had a gap of 3 and 1/2 years between fights and came back strong. Jung got rocked early but caught Bermudez with a nice uppercut to put him down. The stoppage was a little early but Bermudez did crumble to the ground and go limp. The co-main event was slightly boring, but Felice Herrig looked excellent in the fight. Alexa Grasso seemed timid in the cage and didn't let her strikes go. Herrig had crisp on point striking with a few takedowns mixed in. Grasso is still an upcoming prospect and this is just a bump in the road. Vick versus Trujillo was the James Vick show. The 1st round was pretty close but in 2nd and 3rd Vick set up D'arce chokes. Finally, in the 3rd round, he ended it with the D'arce. Ovince Saint Preux should have got the decision win, but what happened to the old OSP? OSP has an arsenal of takedowns, striking, and submission skill. The problem is, he seems to be fighting scared and moving backward against the cage. When he gets his back to the cage, OSP gets in trouble and gets hit hard. Jessica Andrade versus Angela Hill was an exciting fight, which Andrade hit Hill with everything and Hill kept standing. Andrade is a title contender and should end up with the next shot. These two women went in and threw strikes at each other for 15 minutes. Curtis Blaydes was a monster in the cage with his takedowns. With a total of 7 finishes and couple other solid fights, UFC Houston was a major success.
