UFC 208 - Holm Vs. de Randamie - Results

UFC now has a Women's Featherweight champion. Germaine de Randamie won a controversial decision. Holm pressured the whole fight, threw leg kicks, and had better output. Randamie got rewarded for the amount of head strikes landed. Anderson Silva versus Derek Brunson could also be considered an interesting decision. The fight didn't have a ton of activity, but when it did it came in spurts. The majority of the fight seen both fighters circling around each other picking their spots. Derek Brunson had a few takedowns, but Silva landed some shots and pressured more. Jacare showed why he should have the next Middleweight Title fight. He is one of the best jiu-jitsu practitioners that has ever been in the UFC. The best fight of the night went to decision and showcased the skill of Poirier and Miller. Poirier landed powerful shots the first two rounds when miller started taking the leg out in the 3rd. Poirier had to go for the takedown in order to win the fight. UFC 208 wasn't the most exciting card fans will ever see with  nine fights going to decision.
